Marichu Eaker, PT, DPT has been practicing as pediatric PT for 10 years. She is passionate about working with children with special needs. She is a yoga enthusiast, she loves to read books, travel, hiking and outdoor adventure.


 

Elizabeth Hellman PT, DPT,

 

As an avid and diverse high school athlete, Liz’s interest in physical therapy was ignited from personal physical therapy treatment for sports related injuries, as well as a high school sport medicine class. She attended Seton Hall University where she received her Bachelor Degree in Biology and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has gained a wide spectrum of experience through clinical rotations and work experience in the following settings: outpatient, homecare and school based pediatric, hospital acute inpatient and outpatient orthopedics. Liz started her career in an outpatient orthopedic setting, however always had an interest in treating pediatrics. She joined the Kidz Lounge in 2019 and is now exclusively working with children ages 0 - 18 years old in various settings: schools, outpatient settings and home-care. Liz enjoys incorporating games and art and crafts within her physical therapy sessions creating a fun and playful environment to focus on gross motor activities.

 

Outside of work, Liz enjoys a good book on the beach, country music, watching her daughter play sports and spending family time with her family, including her two fur babies!


 

Dana Masterson, PT, DPT graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, certified Pilates Mat instructor, and former competitive dancer. Dana has gained a wide range of experience from completing her clinical affiliations in hospital acute care, outpatient orthopedics, and pediatric inpatient and outpatient settings. She has always been passionate about working with children and is so excited to be joining the Kidz Lounge team. When she isn’t treating patients, Dana enjoys doing pilates, going to the beach, skiing, listening to country music, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. 


 

Tess Kochenash, MS, OTR/L is an occupational therapist who graduated with her Masters degree from New York University. She has a passion for working with children with past experiences including children with ADHD, cerebral palsy, autism, and many others. She has experience treating in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, early intervention, and schools. She focuses on strengths and interests of the child to increase engagement and success. In her spare time, she likes to read, practice yoga, and spend time outside.
